BE A PART OF THE EDUCATION or A SLAVE OF THE EDUCATION

It is a well-known fact that new things are always problem for most of society. In this essay I shall investigate that how we can see these things in our society’s educational system especially through the English Language and Literature Department.
What we usually have in mind when we talk about education system in literature is there are certainly free thinking’s, free interpretations so and so forth despite the fact that there is not sufficiently any freedom in English literature. In the film; ‘Dead Poets Society’, John Keating to McAllister: "But only in their dreams can men be truly free. 'Twas always thus and always thus will be." Keating argues that they should use their dreams to be free. On the other hand, even if we could freely dream, we wouldn’t explicitly interpret our thoughts in the class due to authority of teacher. If there is an authority in class, there cannot be any creativity. In addition to that John Keating says that “This is a battle, a war, and the casualties could be your hearts and soul.” That is why; it shows us there is contumacy of authority. This perspective actually says that we need to something for making things up.
As for the unconventional English teacher who is John Keating wants his students that tearing out the textbook intros. That is to say, he is actually pioneer of the rebellion and free thinker for his students in comparison, unfortunately we have not. That is, we actually have disciplinary and punisher teachers in our department and also others. As a consequence, these are not actually effectively and efficiently teaching methods, these acts cause setback of the students and they don’t be self-realization. In particular, there must be freedom of choice, individuality in spite of this we cannot talk about there is an education place owing to the fact that education is mutual phenomenon.
By the way, progressive ideas are generally rejected by covered ignorant persons due to the fact that they are afraid of collapse of their dominant principles like as our teachers. In addition to that John Keating also teaches the boys Robert Frost’s “Two roads diverged in a yellow wood so the boys must find their own way to walk.” As a result he actually gives us some messages with this quotation from Frost, he wants to say that all freedom, freethinking, choices, seize the day so and so forth depends of you. To demonstrate, they create a group which is called ‘Dead Poets Society’ henceforth we have to struggle for some nascences.

All of this points to the fact that although there are some obstacles such as education system, teacher, and school so and so forth, we never and ever don’t leave our virtues such as freedom, freethinking, choice rights, and individuality so and so forth otherwise we are not a part of the education, we are the slaves of education.
